Cold Cuts...

Frank Schmitt started his professional career at the age of 14 when he performed his first gig at Ft. Mitchell Country Club with a band called Odyssey comprised of local band directors. Today, 51 years later, Frank performs with over 30 different bands throughout the Midwest including the Blue Wisp Big Band, PyschoAcoustic Orchestra, Swingtime Big Band, Sound Body Jazz Orchestra, Mapleknoll Big Band, Ron Purdon Big Band, After Hours Big Band & the Monday Night Big Band to name a few. He has performed with national entertainers such as Don Rickles and Frank Sinatra, Jr. Frank is excited to be a part of Cold Cuts and looks forward to performing many gigs with them in the years to come!
Ken Glassmeyer....Ken plays all of the saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone), the ukelele, and so many other instruments that his love for music, especially jazz, is obvious! When he is not playing music he can be found romancing his beautiful wife and guiding and raising his two handsome sons, at home, in the greater Cincinnati area.

Jerry Linger --- Jerry has previously toured with the Lawrence Welk Road Band and has played with other major artists including pianist Roger Williams, pianist Joanne Brackeen, saxophonist Phil Woods, and bassist Ray Brown. Jerry began studying jazz guitar with James Tridico when he was 12 years old. He holds both a bachelor’s and a master's degree in music.

JJ Yates: JJ is a versatile drummer/percussionist having played rock, jazz, and world music. He is a graduate of Central State University with a Music Education degree. He directed the Paul Robeson Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Central State for 13 years, and he has played drums for the greats, including Piney Brown, Branford Marsalis, and Kool and the Gang, with whom he traveled the world for a decade.

Dan Glassmeyer...Dan started playing in marching band in high school, and has been playing locally ever since. Weddings in the 80's, R&B with Hi-Tension in the 90's, blues with Them Bones after that...and now jazz with Cold Cuts. Living the horn-player life. Dan has an uncanny ability to make the family cats scatter when practicing his sax at home.

Steve Magas...started playing the trumpet in 4th grade and never stopped. As a student he played in the orchestra, marching band, symphonic band, pep band and jazz band. As an adult he has played with a number of classic rock, jazz, ska, funk, soul and pop bands locally. Steve is a local trial lawyer… who keeps a loaded trumpet next to his desk at all times…because you never know when a band is going to break out…

Felipe Santiago --- Felipe has been involved with music his entire life. He enjoys composing and arranging and he is always on the lookout for a great tune to fit into the Cold Cuts repertoire...even if it means scaring his band mates. Felipe also enjoys the process of recording Cold Cuts tunes for the dancing, bopping, and listening pleasure of others.
